Brought to you by the Mobile Bar Foundation, Tri the Gulf is a sprint triathlon on Dauphin Island, Alabama consisting of a 600 yard Gulf swim, 16.7 mile island + bridge bike, and 3.25 mile island run (mostly off road on a well kept golf course).
The triathlon will be held
at Isle Dauphine Golf Club located at 100 Orleans Dr, Dauphin Island, AL 36528

2018 Tri the Gulf will continue to be a safe event. In fact, it's our number one goal! The DIPD and volunteers will be out in full force and fully aware of our needs. Also,
New for 2018, we will have a limited field of 350 participants.
New for 2018, we have opened a Novice First Timers category for male and female athletes. This must be your FIRST triathlon.
SAFETY is our number ONE concern for 2018, followed by a fun, AMAZING race and WONDERFUL after-event party for YOU !!!
This is a USAT sanctioned event w/a USAT certified Race Director
Tri the Gulf guarantees the first 350 participants registered great swag, official race t-shirt, and finish line goodies.
INCLEMATE WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
YOUR SAFETY is our NUMBER ONE concern. The Mobile Bar Foundation/Tri The Gulf reserves the right in the event of inclement weather, emergency, or natural disaster to: delay, re-format, reschedule the triathlon to a later time or date, or cancel the triathlon, in the sole discretion of the Mobile Bar Foundation/Tri The Gulf. In the event of CANCELLATION, there will be NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEES. Please do not fret about this policy. Most of the members of the Tri The Gulf Steering Committee are active or former triathletes. These persons know how it feels when a triathlon has been cancelled.
